Clothkits is an English clothing and craft company, based in Chichester, West Sussex who sell kit clothing, dressmaking kits, haberdashery, sewing machines and all manner of other sewing supplies. They have been producing and selling clothing kits for over 50 years. I found two of their clothing kits when I was helping a friend downsize her sewing room.  I contacted Clothkits and they sent me a picture of the dresses from their 1986 catalog (Image 2).

 The kit is for Child's Dress (Style 469) size 6-7 years.  The fabric is very soft, light-weight corduroy.  The bodice of the dress is shirred (smocked) with a gathered skirt. The Dress kit include fabric printed with the dress pieces, instructions to construct the dress, and required notions (thread and buttons). The fabric is pre-shirred.  

To construct the dress, cut out the pieces and follow the instructions to put the garment together.  Have Fun!
