This is an Mdina glass Sea and Sand vase produced in Malta and dating from the end of the 20th century.  It is unsigned but definitely Mdina.

The vase is in good condition.  It shows some age related wear and tear to the rim of the base consistent with use.

The vase is blown in clear, blue and yellow glass, measures 11.5 cm (4.6 inches) in height and is 13 cm (5.3 inches) in width at its widest point.  There are three flaws at the shoulders of the vase, all dating from manufacture.  One of the flaws is some raised glass trailing at the shoulders, and the other two looked initially like chips but are actually fractures in the glass around small inclusions.  These faults are likely why the vase was not signed as it was probably considered to be a second.  The price takes this into account.  There are no chips, cracks, significant scratches or any obvious evidence of restoration.

It weighs in at 1.3 kg. (~ 2 lb. 14 oz.).
