I am selling a really nice, antique, 1930’s era, DeKalb “Champion” brass belt buckle. By DeKalb Hybrid Seeds in DeKalb, Illinois. This is a very early DeKalb piece. The winged ear of corn logo first appeared in the mid 1930’s. When this design first came out the wings were flying towards the left. In 1940 they redid the logo and had the wings flying towards the right which is how they have remained since 1940. So this is a very rare, early piece with the wings flying to the left. It is a metal buckle that appears to be brass. It measures approximately 2” x 1.75” and weighs approximately 2 ounces. It is in very good condition for its 85+ years of age. The pictures tell the story. Please see and enlarge all photos for the exact condition of the item before purchasing. This was a recent estate auction find. It will display nicely in any collection. This is a rare, old DeKalb piece. I am selling it today for just $15.95 (plus shipping). Your $15.95 payment (plus shipping) will get this awesome, antique, 1930’s era, DeKalb “Champion” brass belt buckle carefully packaged and shipped out to you via USPS Ground Advantage Mail within 24 hours of receipt of payment. Thank you for viewing my listing.
