Description
“Introduction to Naoden Musha’s Eishin-ryu Iaido, easy to understand with detailed notes and series of photos!”
Standards of "Koto" and
and the basics of "Technique" in detail
This is a detailed explanation of the standards of koto (a series of movements of techniques) and the basics of waza (individual movements), which is based on the teachings of Kono Hyakuren Sensei and Fukui Torao Sensei, and the insights gained through more than half a century of study by the author, along with approximately 2000 photographs.
The author was a student of Torao Fukui Sensei in 1958, and was able to receive direct instruction from Hyakuren Kono Sensei in 1961. I have compiled this book in order to organize the many teachings given by the two Soke Sensei, and to help beginners who aspire to "orthodox Muso Jikiden Eishinryu" understand "koto" and "technique", and to use it as a resource for their study. The true depth of swordsmanship is infinite. It is my hope that you will learn the rudiments in this book and improve yourself through study and refinement. I would be very happy if this book could be of help to you in cultivating a mind that will continue to move toward the pole, which is considered to be the "limitless" end of swordsmanship (i.e., a mind that will carry you through).
