This very special 2024 $2 Toonie coin is minted in specimen finish. This coin is taken from the 2024 specimen set. This is the first year that our coins have the King Charles III effigy on the obverse!
The coin is dated on the obverse. It is 28.03 mm in diameter and
weighs 6.99 grams. The outer ring is minted in three ply nickel finish
plated steel. The inner ring is brass-plated aluminum bronze. Mintage of the set is only 30,000. Your coin will be protected in a 2 x 2 cardboard holder. NO CASE OR CERTIFICATE INCLUDED.
