Breyer Training Area (BTA) 1944-1990 was gifted to the Philadelphia Council of Boy Scouts by Henry W. Breyer, Jr. (Breyer Ice Cream) in 1944 when he purchased the former John Wanamaker Lindenhurst Estate.  All but 8 acres sold between 1969-1976 and the last acreage titled to the Council in 1990.  Later became part of the Philadelphia College of Optometry (PCO) now Salus University.

This patch issued for the 25th Anniversary in 1969.
