Limited edition Super rare Adidas hi top sneakers from the Adidas Originals Consortium “Your Story” Spring/Summer 2012 season to commemorate the London Olympics of the same year.  This shoe was designed by legendary soul singer Aloe Blacc as one of 5 commissions by influential Artists that year.  Each shoe has a colour coded lace hole linking it to the Olympics event.  

Blacc created the shoe in brown leather in reference to the African soil with the gum sole symbolising the bare feet of his childhood hero 1960s Olympic gold medal winner and Ethiopian runner Abede Bikila.  He chose the decade Hi Top as these were a childhood Hip Hop favourite of his.
