This is the 2nd buckle dedicated to commemorating 100 years of North Dakota statehood. The Great Seal notes the date voters approved the proposed state constitution, October, 1, 1889. The state model, quotes, Daniel Webster; “Liberty and Union, Now and Forever, One and Inseparable.” The symbols are prescribed by the state of constitution. This belt buckle is also number 8608 as engraved on the back. It will come in the protector box as shown.
