ITEM: (1) Vintage, original letter that Naoma Brown wrote to her older brother Homer Guy Brown on April 9, 1901. She wrote 1900 on the letter in error as both Postmark show 1901.

(3) photos from 1901 taken in McKittrick, CA. and the job site that Homer was working on and small oil drilling projects.

She did not know it at the time she wrote this letter but Homer had just gotten sick with Malaria. He was out working on oil wells in McKittrick, CA. The family had to go and get him and bring him home where he died.
