- In "A" mode it usually (but not always) uses a very long exposure (10 seconds or more)

- The shutter speed display in the viewfinder does not light up

- In "X" mode the shutter fires normally

- The self timer with flashing light usually works

- The light does not illuminate when checking the battery with known-good batteries

Otherwise, things look fine: lens and viewfinder are clean and clear, battery compartment is clean, wind-on is smooth.
