A fun and stylish model from my collection- the Sony Walkman WM-EX621, released
in 2001, is one of the final & most popular models in Sony's elite
'WM-EX' series. Featuring a fully logic controlled mechanism with
auto-reverse, automatic track skip and more based on Sony's best
chassis, this premium Walkman is a very cool (and practical) option for
those looking for a high-quality, offline, portable music player without
the distraction of a smartphone. The mechanism has been fully serviced,
calibrated, demagnetised and rebuilt by myself, and fitted with a new
DeckTech belt. A remote controller is not required to use this model.
Cosmetic condition: Very good
- Minor scratching along the side edge the door, and one small scuff towards the bottom on the front.
- Very attractive and stylish design.
Mechanical condition: Very good
- Plays very well. Features an excellent clear, bright sound quality.
- Doesn't contain any electrolytic capacitors in the audio
electronics, and is built to last far longer than a traditional
Walkman

A high number is good, but more consistent is best. Any channel difference smaller than 0.5db is considered inaudible.

Build Quality: Excellent
- Very thick all-metal body, built to withstand a lot of abuse.
- Compact size- barely larger than a cassette case!
Battery life: Very good
- Around 35 hours (1400mah gumstick battery)
- This model uses slim 'gumstick' batteries.
These aren't included, but can be found newly-made online for cheap.
Search ebay for 'gumstick battery' (such as Doublepow, nicjoy, jinmasi,
etc.)
Compatibility:
- Will play all tape types
- Supports compatible Walkman remote controls (four pins)
- Will run up to 8-300ohm
