It dates from 3rd December 1937 and was made in Scotland. The sewing machine comes with the original foot pedal (photo 5) and handle. (photo 6) The handle does work by hand, and the needle goes up and down smoothly. The foot pedal also works. The light on the machine has been taped on at some point. (photo 4) It also comes with some original instructions (photo 7 and accessories like bobbins, cotton and other sewing things which are kept in the compartment on the right hand side of the machine.
