“Nomads” 1979

Original Signed Limited Edition (15/150) Colour Etching

Often described as a folk artist, she was born in Kent and understand still lives in that County. There is a wealth of biographical information available online and she has been championed by Lucy Campbell Gallery with a particularly fine and informative website adding more background and many examples of her work.

This is a stunningly good etching in particularly good condition, titled “Nomads”. It is signed and dated in pencil right lower margin, titled centre and on the left in pencil denoted as being the 15th pull from 150 impressions. The etching is loose, unmounted, unframed.

Image: 280 x 325. Plate: 300 x 350. Sheet: 390 x 430. Printed on a off white wove paper of very thin card like thickness. Dimensions in millimetres (mm).

The condition is particularly good being free of any foxing, tears, damage or creasing plate or margins. Colours are strong, crisp and well defined.

My photos are in natural daylight. I do not digitally enhance images. I try to ensure what you see is what you get.

Paper is robust yet pliable so I may opt to mail rolled in a secure postal tube.
