Usage:
1. Area of a circle: By splicing 16 equal parts of a circular block into an approximate rectangular whole, a formula for calculating the area of a circle can be obtained.
2. Circumference of a circle: Rotate a 16 part circle with a diameter of 12cm on a ruler to display the circumference. If you pass through half a circle, it will be 18.84cm, and if you pass through a circle, it will be 18.84x2=37.68cm. It can be concluded that the circumference of a circle is approximately twice the length of a ruler, and a formula for calculating the circumference of a circle can be obtained.
3. Pi of a circle: Pi is the ratio of the circumference C of a circle to its diameter d, expressed in letters. Example: When the diameter d=12cm and the circumference C of the circle is 37.68cm; It can be obtained that Pi is 3.14.
