This is a 1:350 scale model requiring assembly and painting. Plastic cement and paints not included.

Admiral Graf Spee, commissioned in 1936, was faster than a battleship and more powerful than a cruiser. She is also the first German warship to be equipped with a search radar, with a speed of up to 28.5 knots, and a main battery of two triple 280mm SK C/28 naval guns. During the Spanish Civil War, she was deployed to Spanish waters five times. After the outbreak of World War II, she began to fight in the Atlantic and Indian Oceans as a raiding ship. Her mission was to attack British merchant ships and avoid exchanges of fire with superior enemy forces, thus threatening the important supply lines of the Allies and constraining the British Navy's activities in other waters around the world. During the war she sank 9 Allied freighters (a total of 50,089 tons). In 1939, the Admiral Graf Spee was forced to sink shortly after a naval battle at the mouth of the Rio de la Plata.
