Condition previously owned.  The red mahogany wood is shiny finished.  The brass ormolu decoration is starting to tarnish from age.  The jade or soapstone medallions very pail green to white have been carved with surface relief detail and cut through holes.   The 2 end stones have leaf carvings.  The center stone has what looks like a lotus or magnolia flower.  The padded lining is of a red decorated with gold embroidered brocade fabric.  The brass padlock & key are made in an antique style of solid brass and also starting to tarnish.
