This is a superb instrument, I am selling in order to progress to a larger version for some of the more challenging and obscure repertoire. These 2 manual models are great home practice instruments as well as ideal for chapels, music practice rooms and small churches (seating up to 250). I bought it new in the UK and I am the sole/1st owner. Most recently retailing for £9100 with Viscount Organs Wales in February 2024, so this represents a good saving. This organ is in “as new” condition, it has not been near any sunlight either. Although I have used it with a pair of additional bookshelf speakers on top, these are not included in the sale and are not necessary anyway unless you want a little extra treble directed at your ears. This is a matter of personal taste really, the internal speaker system is already excellent. For ease of use, I have also fitted a modern LED strip lamp under the bench so that the foot pedals can be lit when playing in a darker environment. The original manual will be provided, as well as an electronic copy for convenience (available at https://www.viscountinstruments.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Chorum-UK-EN-v11.pdf).

This organ has been upgraded to the latest software operating system. No regular or ad-hoc servicing or maintenance of the organ is required, whatever you are told, other than keeping the casework clean. They easily last thirty years even in church environments and at that stage benefit from an internal vacuum to remove dust which can simply be done by removing the rear cover.

Fully MIDI compatible meaning that you can control virtual pipe organ (VPO) software such as Hauptwerk if you wish, however the internal sampled sound quality is what I prefer. There are also a range of external outputs, a headphone socket with the large stereo jack which is ideal for late evening use, as well as up to two separate stereo speaker channels, including an additional external subwoofer if desired. There are also phono inputs, so you can route your computer audio output back into the organ for those using a VPO, whilst silencing the internal sampled sound.

Viscount as a company are extremely helpful to deal with, now the most popular supplier of digital organs to churches and homes throughout Britain. Their UK headquarters are responsive to any requests for information or technical support. That is why, my next organ will also be a Viscount. The long term backup they provide is second to none.

You would need to arrange your own collection, however these are nothing like as problematic as moving a piano, weighing only a fraction of the weight. The foot pedals detach from the organ and with the bench set aside, it’s an easy two-person job to lift the component parts into a van or delivery vehicle, with careful strapping and wrapping for transit. I can assist with this. You could alternatively use professional instrument movers, but a small transit van rented from a reputable supplier such as Europcar or Enterprise is by far the cheapest option.

Please contact me for further information and if desired, to arrange for you to demo the instrument at a weekend. CASH or preferably BANK TRANSFER upon COLLECTION ONLY. I have listed the instrument elsewhere too.
