The lens was bought new some time back and has been rarely used, probably few times only. It has mostly been preserved in a climate-controlled space, remaining unused for the greater part of its existence. I conducted a brief test, taking only a few photographs to verify the functionality of all the features, prior to listing the lens for sale. Everything checked out perfectly, the lens takes beautiful photos. The lens is in excellent condition displaying only slight handling marks on the barrel. The optics are pristine and unblemished. If you are looking for a nice Sony 16-35mm f/2.8 with low usage, this lens is a great find.
