These books etc. come from my father-in-law's estate. We have an entire weaving and yarn shop inventory to sell that was filled to the brim.
These books was found in a locked glass bookcase in my father-in-law's yarn shop. These books are in MINT, MINT and NEAR MINT, (or VG) condition. The spines are unbroken. Book 1 - Living Spaces - (has 4 tiny nicks on the spine and one 1/4 inch larger piece missing) and Book 2 - Chairs - (nothing wrong) have dust jackets that are MINT or darn close to it. Book 3 - Displays - and DJ, while intact, has issues and at best would be NEAR MINT (or VG) because it has ageing, nicks and a huge piece missing on the spine. That makes sense as the previous owner did displays for the Great U and actually used this book. Actual front and back boards for Book 1 and 2 have no damage. Book 3 has very minor fading on the spine, the bottom of the front and back cover, and the back upper corner has incredibly minor fraying. No marks or highlighting in text. Pages are crisp, clean and unmarked. Cover lies flat. Exquisite black and white photographs. Books 2 and 3 have some one-color illustrations on chapter divisions. Illustrated, collectible, 1st editions.

Book 1 - 1952 -
This book is MINT. DJ is in great condition with a bend in the upper front corner cover and only 4 small nicks and one larger 1/4 inch piece missing on the spine. Covers are in excellent condition.
Pages are clean, crisp, and
bright white.
Book 2 - 1953 -
This book is MINT. DJ is in amazing condition. Covers are in
excellent condition.

Book 3 - 1953 - This book is NEAR MINT or at worst VG. DJ is very, very sad.
It is intact, but every flap and edge has nicks, notches, bends or
tears. I know somehow these can be recreated, but I'd consider THIS one
a loss. Covers are have minor fading. Pages are clean, crisp, and
bright white.
Please Note: The box of the Boxed Set is from Whitney Publications, with their logo, and has a 2 inch split on the back upper edge. Also, please note that 2 of the 3 books have incredible DJs, and the 3 has a DJ, even if its very, very, sad, that most of the comparables online do not have. Plus, we have the Whitney box! Woot!

PLEASE NOTE: Because eBay is composed of soulless, bloodsucking monsters, and because it is forcing us to use an ISBN number for a book that DOES NOT have an ISBN number, and even when it DOES have an ISBN, still won’t let us use it, so we use one of a random book. Our book is pre-ISBN numbers. The Library of Congress number is not in the books. The LOC does not hyphenate when you put the number in to verify. Fake ISBN number is 9781014236289. Correct ISBN number is non-existent. We put in whichever one the system will take. Sorry!
Note: We are running out of estate books and will be slowly changing over to their other possessions – some serious, some MCM, some just funky, or kitschy. Others are Depression era. Some will be brand new items, still in their packaging, and others will be more mainstream books (from one of the Grandma’s) or some of our personal books or collectables, as we are not leaving this mess to our kids. We hope you fun and stay with us.
Shipping – All books are shipped on Mondays, Wednesdays and Friday on the first day possible after payment is received around 8 to 9 AM. They are shipped by Media Mail in heavy brown paper, similar to a grocery paper bag. All wrapping and shipping materials are recycled from the cardboard to bubble wrap to 50 year old envelopes. Our packages are ugly, but are very carefully wrapped to arrive safely. We always refund shipping credit if you buy multiple items. Free local pick up. We refund your shipping charges!
