This listing features a brand-new, genuine overhaul kit for the SUZUKI RGV250Γ (VJ23A) water pump. The kit includes essential components such as the water pump shaft (crucial part, see photo 2.6), water pump case O-ring, mechanical seal for the water pump (important, see photo 3), gasket, lock washer, and oil seal (refer to parts list in photo 5).
The water pump in RGV250Γ models is prone to wear and tear over time, particularly the mechanical seal, leading to the mixing of gear oil and coolant. Recent observations show that wear on the water pump shaft, especially at the seal contact area, has been a common issue, failing to rectify problems. We recommend replacing the shaft for vehicles with over 20,000 km on the odometer to ensure continued performance.
The mechanical seal of the water pump is composed of two types: one for the impeller (water pump propeller) side and another for the shaft side (as shown in photo 3).
