There are many who will mourn the passing of good quality school knickers of classic style made from the 70's right through until the early 2000's.

These knickers are the same basic style as the 1970's style with a small oblong shaped gusset in the same material as the main garment and date from somewhere between the 1970's to potentially as late as the early 2000's when this style of knicker was still mandated by certain exclusive girls schools generally for gym wear. The knickers are made from super soft interlock cotton in the classic with strongly elasticated cuff legs.

They sport a classic narrow tunnel elasticated waist but very stretchy wide elasticated waist with deep sides and cuff legs (elasticated) style much favoured in all classic proper schoolgirls knickers.

AS THESE ARE VERY RARE PRODUCT AND IN A LARGE SIZE THEY ARE PRICED ACCORDINGLY

These knickers are a very full cut brief in classic but rare maroon school uniform colour, and will give literally a lifetime of service if treated correctly. The waist elastic is a narrow tunnelled in elastic and the cuff leg are strongly elasticated, the intent being that the cuff itself provides a strong grip to the upper thigh.

This pair is the classic maroon colour, 20 inch waist tag (estimated size 32 – 36”) but they are extremely stretchy and will fit to a MINIMUM waist of 32 inches easily upto 36 inch waist or A UK women's sizes 18 to 22.

They measure :-

Waist (unstretched) : 20 inches

Waist (Comfortably stretched) : 32 - 36 inches

Waist (Fully stretched) : 38 inches

Depth (waistband to crotch) : 13 inches laid flat

Depth (sides waist to leg) : 9.5 inches

Cuff Leg approximately 0.75” wide
