A New Take On The Zombie Apocalypse

Reviewed in the United States on May 17, 2016

This is a great way to think about the Zombie Apocalypse. Wheaton has a character that just isn't happy about still being alive after the zombie hordes have attacked. Really, why would you want to be locked away with people you don't know? Turns out he knows one, a girl from his school. If you're a teenage boy, that is probably one of the few bonuses to the new world order forming around you. Together, they face an errand that changes their views of their future.  I love Wil Wheaton's writing. He's got a real wit and dark sense to his stories. But there is a thread of humanity he weaves within each tale. It's fun to find it. This is a short story with a few flash fiction tales, but a collection worth reading. I've only recently got into the zombie genre, trying out a story of my own on Wattpad. So, it was fun to see what other people are doing besides the "Walking Dead" world. Well done, Wil. Now, write more books. The world needs them. My hunger isn't satisfied yet. ~ Amazon
