Offered here is an antique childrens book: Adventure of a Kite, "The Rosebud Series, for Young Children"; Harriet Myrtle [ Lydia Falconer Miller (Fraser); 1811?-1876]; New York: Sheldon and Company, 1871 [copyright 1866]; 4 1/2 inches high by 3 inches wide, red cloth - title on the spine is worn. The binding is bumped & rubbed, loss of cloth at the head and heel. The covers are lightly stained and the corners rounded and rubbed through the cloth. There are some tiny stains to the rear cover. Illustrated in black & white with a Rose illustrated frontispiece series title. There is scattered foxing throughout the book, no blank endpaper at the front of the book.  Book is over-all in good condition. "Electrotyped at the Boston Stereotype Foundry, no. 4 Spring Lane" - thus likely a First edition - possibly a later print. The book, which also wood-cuts titles contains "An Autumn Flood" and "The Little Milk-Maid" is one of "The Rosebud Series, for Young Children". This is a VERY SCARCE book! Shipping Procedures I pride myself on quick shipping.  I ship next business day after payment is received.

Please note Buyers from outside of the United States are responsible for any and all duties, tariffs or other fees that YOUR country may impose. Once a package is in the Postal Service hands, I loose control over it. Generally for US shipments you can expect delivery within 3 or 4 business days (or 3-9 for media rate). For non-US shipments, once the package leaves the US, even the USPS looses control over it. I can not predict transit times for these packages. They quite often are held up in customs in the receiving country. Please be patient.
