Midcentury TWA Metal Airplane Riffe Ashtray Desk Model Convair 880
A terrific 1960s era 11.5” long and 10.75” wingspan Riffe metal ashtray desk airplane model for a TWA General Dynamics Convair 880 aircraft. Aircraft model only, no ashtray base, these were designed by Riffe to be changed as aircraft were introduced and retired allowing continued use of the base. Fresh from a fine old Denver estate of a decorated career TWA flight attendant Dorothy Stansbeary, and offered with No Reserve.
