Hi there! I'm a Texas Hill Country textile artisan. I enjoy working with yarn, fabric, sewing notions, wood, metal, and all kinds of up-cycled/recycled materials and fibers. For this wall hanging, I took inspiration from an older crow and heart pattern I came across in the past and created this finished penny rug with a green crochet border along with blanket stitched felt wavy edges. I love using old fabric remnants, such as this lovely golden quilt piece that serves as the backdrop.
Details of this Valentine's wall hanging include: Vintage yellow/gold quilt remnant, fabric, felt, blended wool/acrylic yarn, and tea-stained lace. There are two satin loops on the back to use as wall hangers.
Measures approximately: 20" tall, and 14.75" wide.
