"New to the Chase" is a limited edition fine art print from the original watercolor painting by artist Michael Irvine. It is from an edition of only 2001 prints, and is hand signed and numbered by the artist. The print is truly beautiful, and is filled with the detail, vibrant color and reflections that Michael's work is known for. The image measures 22" x 15 7/8" and is printed on high-quality acid-free stock measuring 28" x 20.5". As a full line dealer for the artist, I purchase prints directly from him. It has been stored flat and has never been framed. The print comes with a signed & numbered Certificate of Authenticity from the artist.

In this captivating watercolor painting, Michael remains true to the time period, while capturing the spirit of the Bullitt, one of Mustang's most unique designs. The 2001 Bullitt has the distinction of being the only car produced based on a chase scene from a movie. In the 1968 movie "Bullitt", Steve McQueen drove the 1968 Mustang Fastback in what is commonly known as the best movie chase scene ever on the streets of San Francisco. The car that he actually drove was just auctioned for $34,000,000 at the 2020 Mecum Kissimmee Auction. Michael uses the body panels of the Bullitt to reflect the scene on the street as these powerful machines tear up the road. In the reflections, he manages to include Bullitt's other 2 paint colors - True Blue and Black. While you may not be able to afford the actual car, you can reminisce with this image on your man-cave wall!

This is one of many Irvine prints that I will be listing, so you may want to bookmark me and check back often.
