British? American? Army Shirt 1953 Pattern Wool Flannel Battledress 20TH Century

Measurements in pictures.

I was bought this as a present, years ago. I can’t remember who by or for what reason, I don’t even remember ever expressing a desire to own a green woollen army shirt. I’ve never worn it and I’ve just found it again at the back of the wardrobe.

It appears to be in excellent unused condition, good strong colour, everything there that should be, I think, and no moth holes.

The label appears to say 20TH Century, 1953. I don’t know if it is British, American or from another countries army, I don’t even know if it’s a modern reproduction, it does look very good for 70 years old, if it is. If anybody out there knows, please let me know as I would love to know.

Please see photographs for condition and measurements.
