GENERAL INFO

Includes: Main unit. Batteries not included.

Imported from Japan, and currently my top reviewed model! A beautiful, timeless machine from my collection, and thought to be the final high-end Walkman model ever to be released- the Sony Walkman WM-EX651! Released in 2004, it was and remains one of the most popular high-end models in Sony's elite 'WM-EX' series, and is notable for its very attractive design and speed control feature. This is, in my opinion, one of the most beautiful models Sony ever released- the subtle curved metal and blue chrome accents really give it a modern, premium look, and the design is totally cohesive on all sides. Considering this thing came out the same year that those hideous Nokia 'brick' phones were the hottest thing, it's clear to see just how well Sony outdid themselves with this one. However, its good looks aren't its only strength- it also features an excellent sound quality, with clear treble and deep bass all packed into a tiny compact form-factor. The mechanism has been fully serviced, calibrated, demagnetised and rebuilt by myself, and fitted with a new DeckTech belt. A remote controller is not required to use this model.
