Victorian Commemorative Cufflinks

These are a beautiful pair of cufflinks made with genuine British Royal Engineers buttons (Queen Victoria) from the era of the Zulu / Boer war, approximately 150 years old. This pair of cufflinks is made from two beautiful gilt officers’ British Royal Engineers buttons. The cufflinks are made with a gold-plated swivel back with an attractive diamond pattern on the swivel. They are made using smaller tunic buttons which are perfect for larger cufflinks and are 22 mm in diameter.

They represent a unique part of history and the gilt buttons have been carefully cleaned to retain the original character of the buttons which are approximately 150 years old, whilst highlighting the beautiful details of these very rare original buttons.

This is a truly unique gift and a chance to own a small piece of Victorian and Royal Engineers history lovingly restored and made into a beautiful pair of cufflinks. They are presented in a luxury wooden cufflink box and cardboard cover to make them the perfect present.
