Gorgeous 1938 Art Deco Zenith 12-tube Robot "Shutter" Dial Console Radio, Electronically Restored.
Manufactured the same year as Orson Welles "War of the Worlds" broadcast.
Just came out of the shop. Has great volume and a warm tone. Shutter dial looks and works great.
Motorized tuner sweeps tuning needle around the dial (a bit sluggish, but works).
Looks to be original finish, original speaker cloth, and original knobs. A few nicks in the cabinet that polish out nicely.
Nice clean chassis. Bright tuning eye. New line cord.
Includes original factory "Robot Dial" owner's manual.
