Maguire Jar Candles are hand-poured using 100% Soy Wax, which is Cruelty Free & Vegan Friendly. Our fragrance oils and dyes are also Cruelty Free & Vegan Friendly and we use Cotton or Cotton/Paper mix wicks.

Each Maguire Small Jar Candle is 55mm (Diameter), 62mm (Height) and weighs approx. 190g (net candle weight 55g). All items are CLP compliant with safety warnings provided. Burn Time approx. 12-15H with proper use (see Candle Care Guide below)

Candle Care Guide:

· Protect your table/worktop etc by placing a mat under your Maguire Candle.

· Take care if touching the hot container when a candle is litand after; particularly when the wax level is low.

· Trim the wick to 5mm before each lighting.

· Light your candle in a well-ventilated room, away from drafts, or fans, which can cause sooting or rapid, uneven burning.

· After a few minutes, if the flame appears too high, extinguish it, slightly trim the wick again and relight.

· Burn your Maguire Candle for 2 to 4 hours at a time; especially for the first time. Burning for less time can cause the candle to 'tunnel',which leaves a build-up of wax around the vessel's sides. Burning for longerperiods can cause the wick to move, or slant.

· Keep the wax pool clear of wick trimmings and matches etc.

· After extinguishing the flame, centre and straighten the wick. Burningfor too long can cause the wick to move, or slant. If you see a flaming wickslant or come close to the container wall, extinguish the flame and straightenthe wick to prevent the vessel from cracking.

· Long, or crooked wicks can create high flames, smoking, or sooting. Keeping the wick trimmed to 5mm (when the wax has set) is the easiest way to prevent this.
