This estate find is a two piece sweater set which was made by BALLANTYNE of PEEBLES SCOTLAND for TRIMINGHAM'S of BERMUDA. in the 1960s.  They are made of a luxurious 100% cashmere and the turquoise color is like the sea around Bermuda. The pullover is white and on the front is a design featuring three flowers and many stripes. We see no imperfections on it and wonder if it was ever worn.  The cardigan has handsome gold buttons down the front and the sleeves are three quarter length as are the sleeves of the pullover. The cardigan has some faint stains on the front, and there is a stain on the lower right part of the back which we have shown in one of our photos.  We have not attempted to clean the sweaters but assume the stains can be removed if treated properly by a reliable cleaning establishment. There are no size labels on either sweater but they are for someone small.  The measurements are as follows: Across the shoulder 16 inches pullover and 17 inches cardigan, across bust 19 inches pullover and 20 inches cardigan, length is 22 inches on both.
