H=5 1/4" (13.5 cm). Weight 290 gram. Made in USSR of plastic. Very nice and rare item. Good condition - see photo for all details. Fabulous Russian Large Memorial from Former Stalingrad City, now Volgograd. This is a desktop version of the one part of a Huge Monument Group on the Mamayev Hill, which was created after WWII by brilliant Sculptor Yevgeny VUCHETICH.

I am selling this item from Ukraine now, the post is working a little slow, but as usual dependable. I was born in the USSR and I was 26 years old when Ukraine became independent in 1991 in accordance with Article 3 of Treaty on the Creation of the USSR (1922, December 30). I know very well the difference between living in a totalitarian country and living in a free one. These items are historical memorabilia, just to remember this time, so that totalitarian regime doesn't happen again in the future. I believe that Ukraine has the right to exist as a free and independent nation and I am participating in charity projects in Ukraine now.

In the center of the Square of "Those who Fought to Death" there is a round water pool, with a central monumental sculpture piece "Stand to Death" symbolizing the most difficult period of Stalingrad Battle and representing deeply emotional image of our people, who have won over the terrible and treacherous enemy. The height of the sculpture is 16,5 m. At the feet of the sculpture there is a number of slogans such as "Not a single step back!", "Stand to death!", "There is no ground for us behind the Volga!", "Let us not shame the holy memories!"
