Deutscher Bildhauer, arbeitete ab 1909 Für die Firma Rosenthal AG und war der
wichtigste Figurenentwerfer in der Anfangszeit der Kunstabteilung des Werkes. Zu
seinen bekannten Arbeiten zählen Philosophischer Disput, Kleiner Bacchant,
Faunbüste Schreck und die Tempelweihe.

Spärlich bekleidete
Jugendstilschönheit, um die Hüften ein Gurt mit langem, weich fallendem, die
Beine umspielendem Tuch,
auf dem hochgesteckten Haar ein helmartiger Kopfputz mit grichisch-antik
anmutenden Details, würdevoll und mit andächtig gesenktem Blick die Tempelstufe
herabsteigend, mit seitlich ausgebreiteten Armen einen Teller und eine
vierkantige Flasche tragend, ein exzellent modelliertes großes schweres Tuch um
die Arme geschlagen und am Rücken herabfallend.
Sparsame Bemalung in Braun- und Blautönen und Golddekor.
Basierend auf abgestuftem, an der Vorderseite abgerundetem Sockel,
Künstlersignatur 'FERD. LIEBERMANN.' auf der Rückseite, unterseitig
Beschriftung: 'Dieses Modell existiert nur in 200 Exemplaren. Nummer 152'.

German sculptor, worked for the Rosenthal AG company from 1909
and was the most important figure designer in the early days of the company's
art department. His well-known works include Philosophical Dispute, Little
Bacchante, Bust of the Faun and the Dedication of the Temple.

'TEMPLE DEDICATION'
A scantily clad Art Nouveau beauty, a belt around her hips with a long, softly falling shawl draping around her legs, a helmet-like
headdress with details reminiscent of Greek antiquity on her pinned-up hair, descending the temple steps with dignity and a devoutly
lowered gaze, carrying a plate and a square bottle with her arms outstretched at her sides, an excellently modeled large heavy shawl
wrapped around her arms and falling down her back.
Sparingly painted in shades of brown and blue and decorated in gold.
Based on a stepped plinth rounded at the front, artist's signature 'FERD. LIEBERMANN.' on the reverse, inscription on the underside:
'This model only exists in 200 copies. Number 152'.
