Pair of vintage Meerschaum cheroot holders in Original Cases

Size (approx..) case with red lining: 9.5cm long, pipe inside: 8.5cm long. Other pipe case: 10.2cm long. pipe: 6cm

Condition:
Red lined case pipe: stem has become detached. They both have a screw attachment but the stem is very chipped at the screw end and splits easily. The end has a carving of a reindeer. The Meerschaum has an interesting darkened colour.  The case has 1900 written in pen inside. Hinges work well. It is worn, especially at the edges. It securely clips shut. It takes some pressure to reopen by pressing the knob on the side.

The other case has a dark blue velvet touch lining. It is missing the stem. It is chipped where the meerschaum section joins the bowl. The carving possibly was a horse but its head is missing. Meerschaum is discoloured as usual. Bowl blackened.
Case - lining dusty. One hinges is loose and possibly missing its inner pin. Shuts securely and opens easily. Outside of case very worn.
