Vintage wood Javanese Couple Statues. Carved from wood and handpainted. "Loro Blonyo" which can be translated as "inseparable couple".  The inseparable Javanese wedding couple are individually carved and painted in an intricate and beautiful batik wood sculpture This is a lovely pair, very good vintage condition 

Javanese, largest ethnic group in Indonesia, concentrated on the island of Java, numbering about 85 million in the early 21st century. The Javanese language belongs to the Austronesian (Malayo-Polynesian) family.
