Beloved people of Earth!

Hereby, I am selling my very unique look an a T-Birdey-like bass guitar as I am getting rid of my own collection to make room for the new collection.

Got this baby second hand some good 10 years ago. Bought her in a dismal state, as the previous owner tried to convert and pimp her up. I am unsure of who made this instrument. Got rid of everything in there and on it and built her on my own image of what a T-Bird should be.

Its body, neck and fretboard are made of mahagony (probably of the African sort, by the looks of her). Wood was stained with a mixture of mahogany powder (Holzbeize) und whiskey (the cheap stuff) and stiffened up with ethanol-based shellac to protect it over long time.

Tuners I got from Gotoh and the hold the tuning quite well and you can go on months without retuning, as long as you don't change your temperature and humidity (duh:) - extra light, so we can get that head dive out of the way.

Nut is bone. Handmade and sanded in the slots for tuning stability.

Frets are NeuSilber I got a couple of years beforehand from Rockinger.

Pu´s are Roswell's ceramics I got from local music exchange and they fit in perfectly with Artec 2 Band EQ (exquisitely well sounding for the price, with some light buzzing at treble maxed out). It has a treble boost/cut, bass boost/cut and a VOL push-pull (pushed in, only the bridge PU -- pushed up, neck PUs with the bridge doing 75% volume). Not a one-trick-pony.

Bridge is something to look bit Rickenbacky, and to give extra weight to the body. once again, no head diving. Base is from nickel and it has stainless steel barrels ;; still better than a 3-way-bridge T-Birds usually come with.

And yes, it's real leather from a real cow

Included are a gig-bag (a good one, ofc), pick (Stribor original) and a tuner (got too many of these, gotta start getting rid of'em)

This bass is supposed to look like this, and it can take many more damage. For the lovers of the roadworn, unique and the apocalyptic. Lifetime support and advices from me also.

I don't care, where on good God's green Earth you are, and if you fall outside of eBay's delivery Dingsbums just contact me, and we can set everything up, to send you this beautiful instrument.

Used this beauty to record this straight-to-disc improv jam w/ my people
(listen to the barons of the basement or the last track of the record -  it was DI with minimal EQ on the amp to pretty her up)

Running her thru a NY Big Muff and Fender Rumble 800 (old looks - the sound is pretty better with the new bridge - mass=sustain)

THANKS A BUNCH, PEEPS.
