Car was bought by me used in 2015 with132,000km. Gearbox was replaced due to milkshake with one from an FPV GR=TE that had 24,000km on the Odo. Car was subsequently included in Ford cooling system recall so no more issues. All suspension & diff bushes replaced, centre tail shaft bearing replaced, 4 piston front Brembo’s, GT quad tip exhaust, Bilstein shocks, staggered FG8 mags and all engine & exterior trip painted or hydrodipped. MkII center screen & FGX dash spears added, as were GT side mirrors and FPV side trims and badging. GT Seats. Car is basically built to FPV GS Boss 302 spec.
Rear of car has been fully upgraded to FG-X look with genuine FGX Sprint boot lid & lip spoiler. Car has never been in an accident and runs perfectly. Fully stamped service book included.
Issues - 1) Headlining needs replacing. 2) Because car has extractors and is not currently flash tuned, dash shows a check engine light for reduced efficiency of the catalytic converters (extractors move the o2 sensors and cause this (bring your OBD2 scanner to confirm). Flash tune will fix this. Car not supplied with flash tuner as the one i have was bricked by the local Ford dealer plugging car into their computer for an update when the flash was installed.
