Condition: Wear commensurate with age and use. Some sections of tarnshing and overpolishing. A slight dent in the base rim.
Marks: The silver bowl bears the makers mark IH & RR for Hunt & Roskell, and full London hallmarks for 1869.
Notes: A stunning salt cellar. Almost certainly a design by the renowned French jeweller & silversmith Antoine Vechte, who worked for Hunt & Roskell at this time.
