Vintage Mid-Century Handcarved Wooden Troll with Tail

Possibly Scandinavian

It reminded me of E. Henning carved characters but I reached out to the company and they confirmed it is not a Henning. 

Regardless it is a nice whimsical happy fella which someone took the time to create. Any label has been lost over the years.
