Up for sale is a beautiful
WW2 original issued Bulova. Not too many of this particular WW2 reference are
around anymore. Lovely aged, black dial with fantastic pumpkin, fully intact
lume and blued spade hand set. I love the style of the little seconds hand and
markings on the sub dial. Great case and bezel with minimal signs of speckled brassing.
No damage. Crystal was replaced. I have it attached to a vintage period correct
military cloth strap. Case back is marked ORD.
DEPT U.S.A. OF. 62296 BULOVA WATCH CO. Although serviced many years ago,
the movement on occasion sticks and stops ticking. A little flick on the side
of the case and it starts ticking again. It does work and the balance swings
freely, but it’s time for a routine service as its most likely dry. As I type
it is running at this time. I was hesitant to show the movement simply because I
would have to remove the dust cover but the downward pressure of the gasket is
securing it down over the movement. I don’t want to disturb it. However, if
necessary, I can remove it. I assure it is the original 10AK non-hacking movement.
A great overall piece for
any military collection. I recommend a routine service and to
avoid from water. Beware of replicas, fakes, and poor condition originals.
All photos are untouched
and taken in natural light coming from the right side of the photo. Any glare
you see on the crystal is from the window. Please examine the enlarged photos
and video carefully as they are an accurate representation of the condition. I
do my best to be as accurate and definitely honest as possible. Please feel
free to ask any questions or request further photos. I have a
100% feedback as a seller.
