ART NOUVEAU JARDINIERE
Elegant silver jardinière in an elliptical basic shape on four spherical feet, straight vertical wall with regular openings in the form of rhythmically offset, overlapping segmental arches, a relief decorative band above it and a straight edge, J-shaped handles applied on the outside in opposite lengths.
Matching glass insert with a serrated upper edge with stone decoration with cut stars on the upper edge that protrudes from the silver vessel, as well as a large cut bottom star.

Matching glass insert with a serrated upper edge with stone decoration with incised Stars on the upper rim protruding from the silver vessel and a large cut star on the base.

Founded in Vienna in 1883 by Alexander Sturm, born in Vienna in 1851. His customers were primarily members of the emerging bourgeoisie at the end of the 19th century. Century like Mautner Markhof, Kattus, Wittgenstein, Meinl, Manner, Piatnik, etc. Later, members of the imperial Sturm family also became customers (Archduke Eugen, Archduke Franz Salvator and Archduke Leopold Salvator). At the beginning of the 20th century, the company already employed a hundred people.
