Gilbert Pidcock was a Managerist & Showman who by 1779 was travelling around the Midlands of England with exotic animals. In 1793 he purchased another managerie at The Exeter Exchange in the Strand, London. This was an ideal location for the wintering of his animals. He lived from 1743 to 1810.

I understand that this was a farthing token for entrance to the Exchange.

This copper token weighs 9.5g and has a diameter of 29mm.
