Another fantastic clearance find offered up for auction at a bargain price. you are bidding on a seriously fine looking bronze figure in good condition. the large bronze figure stands 12" tall and it a nice heavy piece weighing 2.4 kilo. it was discovered whilst clearing some effects and I know little about its age & history? it is signed on the base part but its worn over time and not easy to make out
(please see pic) its possibly BEPINO or PEPINO? the bronze depicts the nude female figure and she has been beautifully modelled.
she appears topless but the rest of her modesty is discreetly covered. I think she has a wonderful presence and I simply adore the unusual mottled chocolate patina. if you look underneath you can see three holes so I would suggest the bronze originally displayed on a stand or base? I just think the bronze figure is a real cracker and it will certainly turn a few heads when on display in the home.
