It measures a very generous 18 x just under 12 inches and the pierced gallery rail has cutout grab handles at each end. The plateau is beautifully chased with a classic rococo pattern of scrolls surrounding a blank central cartouche. The tray stands on four ball and claw feet. Very solid and weighty - a substantial item.

Excellent vintage condition. It sits perfectly flat and the surface shows just very minor signs of age and light wear but no plate loss (just one tiny area in the corner has a small copper tinted spot. Freshly cleaned and polished.
