All glass is immaculate inside and out , produces incredible image resolution. Objective lens is truly as new.

*Rear housing had cracked, diy repair with glue had been made and vapour

Brand new metal rear housing installed , all internals fully cleaned and focuser serviced. New nitrogen purging and necessary o rings replaced as appropriate. Fully optically checked by Viking and working perfect

There is slight residue from glue but decided to leave as is as solvent can remove the green finish. You only notice in certain light. Zoom action isn’t perfectly smooth, advised not worth investigating via disassembly as it’s tricky and can introduce dust. Ie more hassle than it’s worth
