DESCRIPTION:

This is one of my favorite reels of all time, the often overlooked, sometimes slandered, ALWAYS reliable Zebco spincast reel. I’ve owned almost every reel from every manufacturer at one point or another (for example I have examples from every known pre-Civil War American reel maker) and I can tell you, nothing gives me more joy than these Zebco reels. I know my friend Dick Braun is smiling somewhere. This is a beautiful example of the Model 22 Super Zebco, new in the box with papers. I think it dates from the 1950s (I believe it was introduced in 1953). Has the papers to go with it, the box has shelf wear and the reel is in great condition. See high res images. A nice addition of an American classic for your collection!
