Vendo un tavolo da tè originale del giappone, importato in Italia negli anni '80 dal nonno, che fu un appassionato viaggiatore e collezionatore di arte orientale.

il tavolo è in legno, con intagli di pregio raffiguranti una scena di geishe in abiti tradizionali e ambientazione classica giapponese. I bordi del tavolo e delle sedute sono arricchiti da fini intagli raffiguranti panorami e facce di Oni (demoni).

Le gambe del tavolo e degli sgabelli terminano scolpite come zampe di animali feroci.

Il tavolino, tenuto in più che ottimo stato con cura maniacale da parte del proprietario, presenta alcuni graffi dovuti all'uso. Si notano per lo più sulle gambe e sugli sgabelli.

La parte intagliata superiore con la scena delle geishe è in perfette condizioni perchè è stata sempre protetta da un vetro che viene anch'esso venduto assieme al tavolo.

I am selling an original tea table from Japan, imported to Italy in the 1980s by my grandfather, who was an avid traveler and collector of oriental art.

The table is made of wood, with fine carvings depicting a scene of geishas in traditional dress and classic Japanese setting. The edges of the table and seats are embellished with fine carvings depicting panoramas and faces of Oni (demons).

The legs of the table and stools end carved as fierce animal paws.

The coffee table, kept in more than excellent condition with manic care by the owner, has some scratches from use. They are mostly noticeable on the legs and stools.

The upper carved part with the geisha scene is in perfect condition because it has always been protected by glass that is also sold with the table.
