This variation is the early model
without the riveted base.
The ‘C’ “New Model” box has all flaps.
One inner side flap has been mended with transparent mending tissue.

Series Matchbox models from my personal collection. I will be listing them over
the next several months as I downsize and sell duplicates so check back often. For those interested in
variations, I have tried where I can to identify the model by its Stannard
book variation code. As some variations are very subtle and difficult to
identify, code identification is to be used as a guide, code accuracy cannot be
guaranteed.
Please use my
description and photographs to determine the condition of the model (and box if
included). Note that my high resolution pictures are
designed to be seen with great detail so any minor imperfections are clearly
visible. Perhaps that is why previous buyers have told me that their models
arrived in better condition than pictured.

PAYMENT - Payment is via Paypal and is expected within one day of winning the auction.
DOMESTIC SHIPPING
WITHIN THE USA - Shipping is via
USPS Ground Advantage with tracking is $6.50. I do not make a profit on
shipping. Fees charged to sellers by ebay are based not only on the item itself
but on the shipping and the state sales tax you pay. Then there is the cost for
boxes, bubble wrap and packing peanuts. Breaking even on shipping is the only
way it is viable for me to offer many lower dollar items. Thank you for your
understanding on this.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING - I will ship worldwide using Ebay Global Shipping.
PACKAGING - I always wrap the model (and box if it is included) to protect during shipping exactly how I would like to receive it... well protected in a box... never an envelope. You will not have to worry about your item during shipping.
COMBINED SHIPPING - I will offer combined shipping on DOMESTIC purchases whenever possible. Please request a combined invoice before paying... as once you have paid, combined shipping is no longer an option.
I use Ebay Global shipping for international deliveries and eBay does not allow combined shipping when shipped out of the USA.
RETURN POLICY - DOMESTIC AND INTERNATIONAL - For domestic deliveries, items may be returned within Ebay's 30 day return policy window and must be return in the condition you received it and with the same box and packing that you received it in. If items are as described in the Ebay auction, the buyer will pay the return shipping cost. Return shipping is only reimbursed if the item is not as listed in the ebay auction.
For international deliveries, items may be returned within Ebay's 30 day return policy but the cost of return shipping will be at the buyer's expense. I do not reimburse shipping costs for international deliveries.
