According to the weathering of the material and the typology of the tool, this piece seems to date back to the first half of the Mousterian period. 

Tool: very nice Mousterian circular Scraper knife on nucleus / core, made by our ancestor Neanderthal. Marks of use and retouches clearly visible on the active sharp part. 

Material: chalcedony + patina + cortex

This very nice piece is from an ancient collection. It has been found before the 1960's.
